General Media and Press Room Guidelines
In order to help ensure that media representatives have a productive and enjoyable experience at ICAST, here are some general guidelines for media and the Press Room:
- General access to the Press Room—beyond Exhibitors for media kits and other information—is for ICAST attendees with Media-editorial badges. Other attendees may accompany Media-editorial representatives to the Press Room for interviews and business-related activities. The use of Press Room resources is for Media-editorial attendees only.
- ICAST attendees with Media-editorial badges are free to use the resources in the Press Room. All other attendees are asked to use the Cyber Lounge or other convention center resources for computer and Internet use.
- Media-editorial representatives may use the interview area on a first-come, first-served basis. Any banners, props, backgrounds, logos or signage must be removed at the conclusion of the interview(s).
- Media-editorial representatives who are also ASA members (non-exhibiting members) who wish to place magazines or other informational materials in the press room may do so as space allows. Bins are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis (one bin per company) with premium space reserved for ICAST Sponsors, Exhibitors and ASA Members.
- Only credentialed photographers and videographers—Media-editorial badges—are permitted to film during the show. Photographers and videographers are required to ask permission before filming and must refrain from filming those who do not grant permission.
- Photography and videography is not permitted on the show floor. All photography and videography must take place in designated areas or within an exhibitor’s booth (Prior consent required).
- Because of agreements with our host hotels, ASA must give prior approval for show daily-type publications or other promotional materials intended for distribution by the hotels.
- ASA staff reserves the right to move or remove materials that are in breach of these guidelines.
