New Product Showcase Winners
Making up a special section of ICAST’s 250,000-square-foot show floor,
the New
Product Showcase gives the industry’s latest innovations special
visibility during the show.
This year, the New Product Showcase, sponsored by Fishing Tackle
Retailer, featured over 500 new products from more than 188
companies. The products, making their marketplace debut, vied for
honors of Best of Show in 16 categories as well as overall Best of
Show.
Buyers and media representatives judged the products based on their
level of innovation, execution, workmanship and practicality. In 2006,
more than 7,000 representatives of the sportfishing community attended
the show, more than 2,000 of them buyers and over 500 of them media.
