After a year-long review, the state marine fisheries directors from FL, GA, SC & NC have released an Action Plan for state-based recreational data collection & management.
In a joint letter to Congress, the states highlighted how inadequate data & a “one-size-fits-all” approach hurt angler access. Their solution: state-driven programs that bring more responsiveness, flexibility & opportunity to the fishery.
