• Board Welcome Cruise & Welcome Reception Photo Gallery
  On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, ASA welcomed the Board of Directors and all the Summit attendees to the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa. Wednesday evening’s Welcome Reception held on the shores of Sanibel Harbour was an excellent way to connect with old friends and colleagues and to meet new ones. More than 100 people attended the annual gathering welcoming attendees to the Summit.

  The 2007 Sportfishing Summit focused on participation and access and what they mean to the sportfishing industry.

• Member Reception & Dinner Photo Gallery
  The annual Member Reception & Dinner was held Thursday night, October 11. ASA thanks Bass Pro Shops for its generous sponsorship of the event. The reception and dinner is always the most highly-attended event of the Summit and is the perfect place to connect with fellow ASA members, friends, spouses and guests. During the Member Reception & Dinner, Darrell Lowrance, who recently retired as long-time president of Lowrance Electronics, Inc., who recently retired after 50 years in the industry, was presented the Norville Prosser Lifetime Achievement Award, ASA’s highest honor, for his life-long dedication to the sportfishing industry.
