Conservation Chairman Inducted Into National Fresh Water Fishing Hall Of Fame
by Johanna DeGroff

Jim Hubbard, FishAmerica's Conservation Committee Chairman, has been inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame! His approved nomination read as follows:
"Jim Hubbard, Wisconsin—Founded the FishAmerica Foundation with the late John Charvat and Dr. Howard Tanner in 1983. The Foundation's goal is preserving and enhancing the natural resources that support fishing. Through his efforts, corporate sponsors have been enrolled in the program, beginning with Zebco Corporation. Realizing that 80% of boaters also fish, he enlisted the boating industry into the fold. Jim continues as an active advocate of the Foundation's goals."

Congratulations to a great man and a great friend.
